Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This is a placeholder privacy policy for Nuug while we're in pilot stage. It describes our current data practices honestly. Before we go beyond pilot, this page will be replaced with a full lawyer-reviewed policy.
What we collect
- Account data: email, password (hashed), name, role (worker, client, or admin).
- Worker profile data: country, timezone, availability, skill interests, optional bio, scores derived from your onboarding questionnaire.
- Work data: task submissions you create, reviewer notes, completion times, accuracy scores.
- Client intake data: the task descriptions, example inputs, and example outputs companies submit.
- Operational logs: AI feature usage, performance logs, audit-style records of who did what.
What we don't collect
- Keystrokes, mouse movements, eye tracking, or other behavioral biometrics.
- Voice or video recordings.
- Screen recordings.
- Location beyond the country and timezone you tell us.
This isn't an oversight — it's a deliberate position. We believe specialists should be measured on their work, not surveilled.
How we use it
- To route work to specialists who match a task's requirements.
- To deliver client outputs.
- To compute aggregate quality metrics that improve future routing.
- To investigate operational issues or quality complaints.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not provide it to third parties except as needed to operate the platform (database hosting, payments, AI inference) and only under contracts that require they protect it.
Subprocessors
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- OpenAI — AI inference for routing and QA assistance. Submission content may be sent to OpenAI for processing; we do not retain it on their side beyond what their API requires.
